After finishing the 30-hour online course, a notification will be sent to Cannon River Driving School. An email confirmation from the State of Minnesota DPS Department of Public Safety will be emailed to you within 48 hours of completing the online course. This is also known as an E-card. You will need to make sure you receive this email before you go to the DMV to take your knowledge test to get your permit.

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety has approved as of July 1, 2023 fully online classes.
